FOR ALMOST 60 YEARS!. Suspense, a premier anthology drama featuring stories of mystery and the macabre,was a weekly fixture on the CBS Radio Network from 1942 until 1962. It aired a total of 945 episodes winning a Peobody award and a special citation from the Mystery Writers Of America. In 1949 the television program of Suspense was broadcast live from New York over the CBS Television Network until 1954. The program was never run in sydication, so it has not been seen since it's original run. These are the first 30 of those broadcast from filmed kinescope masters! |
